Back to School Night
We invite all families of K–12 students to attend Back to School Night on Thursday, August 14th from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. CST. We look forward to seeing you there!

Flag Football practice will begin Tuesday, August 19th for athletes in 1st through 4th grade. Practice will be every Tuesday and Thursday after school. The first game will be Saturday, August 23rd. Details to follow. Any questions, please contact Coach Sorenson at 701-570-5397.

Parents: In accordance with North Dakota House Bill 1160, all students in grades 7–12 will be required to turn in their cell phones to the office each morning before 8:30 a.m. K-6 students will be required to turn their cell phones into their classroom teachers. Phones will be securely held there until students are dismissed at the end of the school day. If you need to contact your child during the school day, please call the school office at 701-694-2711.

Planning on getting Grenora School FBLA up and running again this next school year for grades 8-12! Please sign up at the school office or call the school to get your name on the list as soon as possible. (694-2711). Those who don’t know what it is… Future Business Leaders of America is a school leadership organization in which students learn and exercise their business related skills. They use these skills in community and school service projects and then compete in their choice of over 60 events such as the following: objective tests, speaking and presentation events, critical thinking events, financial literacy, digital computer skills and SO much more. There really is something for everyone whether a student is interested in business or not. Students compete at the state level in the spring to earn a possible trip to nationals, thus there is fundraising involved to raise money for the trips.
