Trunk or Treat
Music Boosters: Who is it composed of and what is the money raised for? All family's whose child/children participate in 5-12 music are asked to participate and raise funds. The booster’s purpose is to support all students in the program through, instrument purchases/rentals, camps, Missoula Children's Theater, band day, scholarships and trips. Throughout the year we will ask families to help with fundraisers such as serving of bars after concerts for free will donation and to sell 50/50 tickets at varsity games. Someone will reach out to you and/or a sign-up sheet will be sent to different groups of families as the concerts near. The annual organizational meeting for the group will be September 28th @ 7:00pm in the Grenora School Library. Your support is needed and your ideas are welcome to ensure the quality of the Music program continues.

Flag Football game changes for Saturday Sept 23: K-2 game time 10:00 at Grondahl Field (Davidson Park) 3 & 4th will play in Grenora at 10:00 Saturday morning.
Grenora/Westby 2023 Homecoming Coronation will be held in the Grenora School New Gym @ 7:30 pm CST. For those unable to attend you can watch Live on the Grenora School Facebook Page.
MonDak Thunder Volleyball Pink Night will be Fri., Sept. 29th anyone willing to donate a basket please let Coach Garcia or the Grenora office know asap. Anyone willing to bring baked goods for the bake sale please bring to the Grenora School by Fri., Sept 29th prior to the JH game. Thanks
GRENORA ENGLISH ROOM is once again holding the After-School Homework Club for grades 7th-12th. Times run from 3:30 - 4:30, but students may leave at anytime if their work is finished. Teachers may send students in to complete work or projects if needed. Students may bring in a drink and snack, and there is no restriction on the use of earbuds so long as the noise doesn't disrupt others. We had a great turn out last year, and especially with students who needed some time before the various sports practices, or kids who were waiting for rides. We hope to see plenty of kids take advantage of it this year! See you there!

Reminder for Thunder fans heading to Lambert tomorrow, both JH and JV volleyball games will be played at the same time in Lambert. JH in old gym, JV in New Gym. Both will start at 2:30 MST/3:30 CST. Varsity will begin after the JV game in the new gym.

The Grenora School Board will meet September 14th at 8:00pm in the School Board Room for the regular scheduled monthly meeting. Items for discussion are on the linked agenda. Reminder:
We will have a 10:00 a.m. Late Start on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 for Teacher Professional Development.
Busses will run at normal times and Breakfast will be served too. These students will be split into groups and work on different activities with teacher aides until school starts at 10:00.
Non-Bus students or students who parents want to bring them to school can come by 10:00.
Pre-School will run normal hours on this day.
This is also Picture Day
FLAG FOOTBALL: K-2 and 3-4 play @ 9am Saturday, Sept. 9th @ Western Star Complex. K-2 will be on field 2 and 3-4 on field 4. Full game schedule to come.
Due to the thick smoke the JH Football game in Alexander has been rescheduled to October 9th time TBD. JH will practice at normal time tonight.

Varsity will begin after school at 2:30 in Grenora, Middle School Football pictures will be at 3pm in Grenora with Elementary to follow. We will begin with individual photos.
