Our PaperPie Learning (formerly Usborne Books & More) Book Fair is coming to GPS this Thursday, Feb. 23, during Parent/Teacher Conferences. We'll be set up in the hallway by the office. All orders are "order only" this year, but we'll have a lot on hand to look at so you can really see how wonderful they are!
We're very excited to share these books and the fun of reading with you! Our school benefits and earns books from every purchase, so we appreciate your support!! Usborne and Kane Miller books are wonderful, high-quality books on a wide range of topics, including amazing chapter books and early readers, outstanding non-fiction, and the best activity books to get kids excited about reading! Youth Wrestling practice begins tomorrow (2/21/23). All students K-6 interested in wrestling practice is from 4:30pm-5:30pm CST.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, February 23rd from 4:00-9:00 p.m. We encourage all parents to attend their childs conference. Some teachers may set up a time slot to meet with parents they will reach out to you to do so. There will be NO ASP on Thursday.
K-3 students are finishing up their American Heart Association fundraiser! Their educational Kids Heart Challenge wraps up soon. If you would like to donate, please go to www2.heart.org or contact Mrs. Paine to help the young students reach their goal of $4000. The deadline is Tuesday, February 21.
Pep band is going to support our girls tomorrow night in Sidney. It will be a late night because our game starts at 8:30 CST. The bus should leave Grenora around 6PM CST. Mr. Miller will be at the school from 3:30 until we leave. We will feed the kids. If the girls win they will be in the Championship game Saturday at 7:30 CST. We will be going! If the girls loose Friday they will be in game 14 at 3:30CST on Saturday. If the ladies loose game 14 they will be in the consolation game on Monday Feb 20th in Culbertson at 8:30pm cst. Pep Band will go to this game if the ladies are in it. Westby is providing the bus so Mr. Miller will get exact leave times to you as soon as we hear.
Pep bad is going to Sidney today. Leaving Grenora at 1:30. We will feed the pep band students. We should be home around 7:30 PM. Please follow the tournament bracket, as we will be following our teams from today on! Go Thunder!

Wyatt Sorenson is the first 3rd Grader to complete Mrs. Lampert’s Multiplication Karate Program! Wyatt has worked hard to master all of his multiplication facts 0-12, using a series of timed tests! Great job, Wyatt!!
